FrogBurger: Good Beer & Tasty Burgers in Paris

I’ve been to Frog and remember to have enjoyed an excellent burger and a delicious beer. I’m not sure why, but that Frog location on Bastille has been totally empty for the last two days... but anyway, I decided to stop for a burger. A beer and a double cheeseburger on this cold night in Paris.

They have a marvelous beer. Fruity and richly aromatic, the IPA has notes of lychee, peach, and grapefruit with a strong bitter finish. Enjoying smooth jazz tunes and the sound of my meat on the grill, I sat alone, in that cozy diner where the open kitchen overviews a bar with four leather stools. Industrial, the decor is simple and pleasant. Red bricks, the Frog logo, lots of wood.

The bun is hard, feels old, not fluffy and not toasted. The part on another side is thick, juicy and made of 100% premium quality beef. I loved it! I had to remove the bun and eat the meat alone. Sweet potatoes are awesome! I’m in love with fried potatoes, and they do them right. Fluffy, crispy, and sweet; a perfect mix! Add mayonnaise and enjoy it.

I was expecting to be impressed: I left happy enough.
