Very fresh and colorful, Sandwicherie is a newly opened eatery next to Union Square. With a broad menu covering a varied choice of sandwiches, pasta, salads, and juices, this place does it all...kind of. Walk in to a beautiful space decorated with rustic wood, many lights, two display fridges for drinks and a classy fridge for sandwiches laid on wooden boards.

Juices and drinks, sandwiches, a pasta station, a grill and then comes the salad bar at the end. Walk through your preferred choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sandwicherie also has ready-made fruit salads to go.

Not very welcoming, I wasn't allowed to take photos; I laughed and asked in which century did they think we are?! The other guy asked me which sauce I want with the Carbonara... seriously!

The steak sandwich prepared earlier is toasted and spread with mustard. A good looking sandwich with a taste that’s acceptable. The Carbonara is far from being one, way too spicy, too watery, and lacking salt and flavor. I asked for spaghetti, I ended up eating a linguini soup; not good at all! The coleslaw is so sweet!

A quick lunch getaway, don’t expect great food, have a quick bite and back to work. It would be a pity to have such a beautiful place, that has clearly received such big investment, shut down after a few months due to bad management and unqualified staff.
