The Coffee Pot: Experience Coffee Culture in Jbeil

It's rare to find independent coffee shops but Jbeil has one. The Coffee Pot is located on the strip that leads from the highway to the old souk on Roman street. Owned and managed by a happy person, Youssef Saade, The Coffee Pot is a place worth checking out.

The place is decorated well. Old Lebanese tiles, a brick wall painted in burgundy, a bar with four high stools, a long sofa covered with white leather, two stone arcades, a mezzanine and below an open bar. Youssef stands behind the open fridge preparing his drinks, enjoying his time and spreading happiness, while soft music plays in the background.

I loved the place the minute I walked in. The big glass facade opens onto the busy street ahead... This place is alive, filled with a positive mood and fresh vibes. The place makes you want to sit and relish every second to enjoy its true coffee culture.

I asked for two drinks to understand what The Coffee Pot offers... One hot one cold. Sipped, took a photo, looked at my friend and said: "He's good."

The journey starts from the cream on top down to the bottom layer of chocolate. Youssef knows his ingredients, he creates, he dreams, he pours passion into every cup.

And then came "The Coffee Pot Special Drink". It's more than just a drink; it's more of an enjoyable smoothie with crushed coffee inside, caramel and just the right amount of sweetness.

I could have stayed all day to enjoy the music and the lively Byblos vibes...

It was time for a real espresso! Great intense taste, not bitter, I enjoyed the muted flavor of Lebanese coffee and the fresh after note.

I love it here... I'll be back for sure and invite you to give this place a try!
