World’s Largest Roller Coaster Restaurant Opens In Abu Dhabi

Everything is bigger, always biggest, tallest... in the UAE. Now we can add another bigger to the list... the new and biggest Roller Coaster Restaurant in the world. Check this article out...

Abu Dhabi-based food and beverage firm The Roller Coaster Restaurant has launched ROGO’s, a roller coaster inspired casual dining concept in the emirate’s newly-opened Yas Mall.

The outlet will span across 14,000 square foot and will have a network of 30 individual roller coaster tracks that loop, spiral and spin around diners to deliver the menu and food to tables.

“The UAE is globally acknowledged as a ground breaking destination for world firsts and with the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Formula Rossa, part of the neighbouring Ferrari World experience, ROGO’S offers a spectacular culinary experience for fun-loving diners looking for a new and exciting dining adventure,” said Jessica Wadih Al-Absi, chairman & CEO, group JWA.

“Each table has its own individually designed roller coaster track and a unique silent delivery system that thrills diners as they get to watch their food make a gravity-defying 360-degree journey to their table.

“Our technology makes dining fun as it transports both cold and hot food and drinks along the multi-spiral, double loop and tornado tracks,” she added.

Aside from the high-flying food delivery system, the 378-seat restaurant also provides guests with an option to order from handheld devices.

“Each dish is presented in individual pots, making it a real journey of discovery from start to finish, and one that we know will resonate with children and fun-loving adults alike,” said Al-Absi.

Global and local food and beverage brands have been flocking to Abu Dhabi with the emergence of mega malls across the emirate.

The recently opened Yas Mall houses nearly 60 international restaurants with brands such as The Cheesecake Factory opening up for the first time in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai-based restaurant group Marka Hospitality is also eying Abu Dhabi for potential new restaurant brands, the company’s managing director Ravi Chandran said earlier this year.
