Very fresh and colorful, Sandwicherie is a newly opened eatery next to union square. With a wide menu covering a varied choice of sandwiches, Pasta, salads, and juices, this place does it all or kind of. Walk in a beautiful space decorated with rustic wood, many lights, two display fridges for drinks and a classy fridge for sandwiches laid on wooden boards.
Juices and drinks, sandwiches, the Pasta station, the grill and then comes the salad bar at the end. Walk through your preferred choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sandwicherie also has ready-made fruit salads to go.
Not too welcoming, staff didn’t allow me to take photos; I laughed and asked him in which century he thinks we are! The other guy asked me which sauce I want with the carbonara... seriously!
The steak sandwich prepared earlier is toasted and spread with mustard. A good looking sandwich with a taste that’s acceptable. The carbonara is far from being one, way too spicy for a carbonara, too watery, lacking salt and taste. I asked for spaghetti, I ended up eating a linguini soup; not good at all! The coleslaw is so sweet!
A quick lunch getaway, don’t expect great food, have a quick bite and back to work. It’s a pity to have such a beautiful place and such a big investment close after months due to bad management and unqualified staff.
