For being associated with such a stellar reputation, I expected more from the Westin Palace Hotel.
After visiting the Westin Palace Florence and the Danielli Excelsior Venezia in the same week, you can tell that this hotel is not compatible with the rest of the chain.
It's old and needs a lot of work and refurbishment. Everything's old including the doors, the electrical plugs, the furniture and the walls. It's a very nice place to visit, but a word to the owners: invest a bit in that magnificent place.
