Bisou, Downtown Dubai’s chicest French dining destination, invites guests and grape aficionados to a special evening on Tuesday, 30th September from 8 PM, celebrating the artistry of Gérard Bertrand, one of the most renowned winemakers of the South of France. Guests will be invited to a 5-course menu, paired with organic wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
Bisou is set to host this tasting journey, where each dish has been thoughtfully matched with a Gérard Bertrand wine. Known for crafting wines that capture the sunny Mediterranean spirit, Gérard Bertrand’s creations are recognised for their elegance, balance, and refined fruit-forward character.
The Menu for this special occasion has been artfully crafted by celebrated Chef Vladimir Chistyakov, together with Chef Aleksandr Loshchinin, blending French classics with Middle Eastern twists. The evening begins with Beetroot, Raspberry and Pecorino, accompanied by the exquisitely refreshing Mauve Pétillant cocktail. This is followed by Rillettes of Salmon with Radish and Lemon, lifted by the fresh and elegant notes of Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc. The third course presents Ravioli of Black Cod in a delicate Saffron Sauce, perfectly matched with Gérard Bertrand Côtes des Roses Rosé, full-bodied and lingering with candy notes. Guests will then enjoy a rich Lamb Pie with Dates and Spinach, its flavours complemented by the smooth, velvety balance of Gérard Bertrand Naturalys Pinot Noir. To close, a light Berries Sorbet is paired with Gérard Bertrand PapiLou Pét-Nat, vibrant with red fruits and a refreshing fruity finish.

Bisou is beautifully designed by acclaimed interior architect Tristan Du Plessis. Conceived as an ultra chic space, Bisou embodies traditional French-romantic elements such as the black and white checkered floor, curated bookshelves and art-filled walls. With a grand staircase at the centre of the room, Bisou combines natural elements with artistic artwork, creating an elegant style, set to captivate guests.
