The Westin Cairo: A Soothing Escape, A Great Hotel

A great hotel nestled in the middle of a green oasis, surrounded by a beautiful golf course proposes an amazing breakfast; the display, the choices, the music and fresh sunny spells coming from behind the glass facades are everything you need to start a beautiful day. I was not planning to write a review about breakfast at the Westin until I discovered the experience in all its details; I felt transported!

At the hotel’s main restaurant, breakfast is served every morning until 11 am. A manager walking the buffet ensuring quality, three waiters attending tables, beautifully set buffets of endless choices and that music is so relaxing and soothing; I was flying from happiness.

I probably took a hundred photos, artistic photos I was so excited to share on social media. Croissants of all kinds, fruits and vegetables, cheeses from the world, hot food and the egg station.

A dozen plates of croissants, donuts, pain au chocolat, the salad bar, the fruit island, freshly baked bread, pressed juices, cold cuts, foul, cereals and much more.

Loved the food; tasty, good looking and freshly prepared. Loved their version of Labneh, the non-oily eggs.

Appreciating every second, enjoying the music and savoring the freshness of Westin’s food, I wished if time stopped.
