This Orthodox Easter, 21grams invites community to gather around the table for a heartfelt Easter celebration rooted in tradition, generosity and the quiet, but immense, joy of sharing a soulful meal with loved ones, an ode to spring, creativity and the beauty of life cycles.
On the 12th of April, a special Easter brunch will feature at 21grams, thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of togetherness that Orthodox Easter is all about.
The menu is crafted as a four-course experience with sharing-style dishes and individually plated courses, for a balance of abundance and personal indulgence. The meal begins with a mezze stand made for the table, featuring 21grams’ all-time favourites - ajvar, chicken liver pâté, and freshly baked pogacha bread, alongside seasonal spring vegetables served with herb yogurt, and classic deviled eggs paired with lutenica.
For the second course, guests are served individually-plated stuffed peppers, filled with minced beef and accompanied by artichoke and succulent white bean purée, finished with aromatic cumin oil.
The main course returns to a sharing format with a slow-roasted beef chuck, served with truffle polenta and a rich spinach and spring onion ragout - comforting, generous and perfect for passing around the table.
To finish, dessert is served individually, featuring a delicate apple tart paired with olive oil ice cream, alongside coffee or tea to round off the meal.
Enhancing the experience, guests will enjoy free-flowing house beverages throughout, including homemade refreshing juices, iced teas, soft drinks and water.
Rooted in Orthodox traditions, the moment gently lingers as each guest receives an Easter egg for the Easter egg smashing, a Balkan ritual meant to bring people closer during the celebration.
