Eggslut, I believe the name speaks for itself. The place that serves eggs, nothing other than eggs with a burger that contains an egg, an egg salad, and only one dessert; the counter cookies. Eggslut took the place of Food 101 which I visited back in 2012. An international franchise serves eggs like McDonald’s serves burgers with an open kitchen and live cooking. Enter into the world of all-day breakfast.

Eggslut is a chef-driven, gourmet food concept founded in 2011. It's inspired by a true love for eggs. The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist, all-encompassing our key ingredient, eggs. No longer just a breakfast staple, eggs are cooked for everyone to enjoy all day, every day.

On the menu, choose one of many egg sandwiches. Order and wait for your food. A floor made of concrete, wooden tables, metal frames, a bar, and live cooking. Music plays American pop hits. The best part of this eatery is the glass ceiling bringing in daylight on your plates giving it a fresh feel.

The eggs sandwiches are great for a photo! Intensely yellow cheddar cheese, extremely orange egg yolk, a tender bun beautifully wrapped in recyclable paper and stuffed in a carton box. Honestly, the sandwiches are ok! The bacon is chewy -not crispy enough, and the sandwich has an unpleasant sweetness to it, or at least that I personally didn’t understand. The burger needs life, more toasting, crunchiness, more flavors than a simple meat patty. The Eggslut potato purée with a poached egg looks - I’m sorry to say it this way- disgusting like a white liquid floating in a jar, and doesn’t taste great. At least put it in a non-transparent container to be appealing.

I loved the cookie! I’ll come back for the cookie.

Being super positive and constructive... I’m not sure this concept will survive for long.
