New York City: The Alphabet City Coasters

This set of coasters features urban typographic images from Manhattan-based photographer Joanne Dugan. A unique archive of the City’s visual history, many of the images are of handmade signs and markings on now-demolished landmarks.

Dugan originally created The Alphabet City as a teaching game for her two-year-old son. Today, she produces books, signs, and tabletop accessories enjoyed by all ages. The coaster set is an ideal gift for those who love New York City, urban design and typographic history. Features 28 coasters, one of each letter and two symbols.
