Welcoming Spring with Dominique Ansel Bakery

Dominique Ansel is making headlines again and this time it's for a new marshmallow flower that blooms when placed in hot chocolate. With hot chocolate season nearing its end, this beautiful dessert marks the perfect way to transition into spring.

Dominique Ansel London is happy to announce the launch of the Blossoming Hot Chocolate.


The marshmallow flower is a new creation developed for Ansel's Tokyo cafe. The flower will be served in the middle of a steaming cup of Varlhona dark chocolate. This is made of beautiful marshmallow flowers blooming on top of homemade hot chocolate.

The marshmallow will then slowly bloom to reveal a tiny chocolate truffle in the middle.
