Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes

You're looking for something easy to make and enjoy with a nice glass of wine? Joanna's Table gives us a recipe to her Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes. Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced or sliced garlic cloves,
  • 2 cups sliced white onion
  • 5 cups chopped tomatoes (about 2 pounds)
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pack spaghetti cooked El Dente


  • Heat olive oil in a large pan
  • Add minced garlic & sliced onion; sauteé 30 seconds or until it become transparent.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and the dried oregano
  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Add pasta salt, and pepper, tossing gently to combine
