The Gala will be held on May 22nd, 2025, at the Halifax Convention Centre—a prestigious celebration of business, culture, and community.
Anthony, a renowned Lebanese food and culture advocate, brings with him a global following and a heartfelt mission: to preserve and promote the authentic soul of Lebanon. As a dentist turned digital storyteller, Anthony has redefined how people around the world connect through food. With over 2.9 million YouTube subscribers and years of traveling across Lebanon and beyond, he has used his platform to uplift local producers, honor culinary heritage, and ignite national pride.
From launching the beloved Souk el Akel to hosting acclaimed TV series and building one of the most trusted food review platforms in the Middle East, Anthony’s journey has been one of unwavering passion and relentless purpose. At the Cedar & Maple Gala, he will share the powerful story behind NoGarlicNoOnions—how food became a language of resilience, unity, and hope.
