Mission Nature Heads to Tunisia: A 10-Day Journey of Food, Heritage, and Nature

Following the acclaimed success of Mission Nature in Cyprus, Jordan, the UAE, Belgium, and France, Dr. Anthony Rahayel and Dr. Marc Beyrouthy are embarking on their next adventure: Tunisia. This 10-day journey, from September 16 to 29, 2025, will spotlight the country’s breathtaking landscapes, deep-rooted traditions, and rich culinary culture.

A Celebration of Nature and Flavor

Mission Nature is more than a travel program – it’s a discovery of people, heritage, and the bond between humans and their environment. In Tunisia, Anthony and Marc will dive into a wide spectrum of experiences:
• Historic Capitals & Ancient Civilizations: Exploring Tunis’ Medina, Carthage’s Punic ports and Antonine baths, and UNESCO treasures like Dougga and the Ichkeul National Park.
• Untamed Nature: From the green mountains of Ain Draham to Tabarka’s Genoese fort, coral workshops, and the breathtaking La Table de Jugurtha.
• Culinary Journeys: Immersions in olive oil and cheese tastings, local specialties such as mkharek, zlabia, rechta hlowa, and authentic seaside catches in Bizerte and Kelibia.
• Artisans & Heritage Keepers: Meeting local craftsmen in pottery, weaving, distillation, coral, and haute couture.
• Special Encounters: Interactive panels, cultural exchanges, and experiences blending past and present.

Highlights of the 10-Day Itinerary
• Tunis & Carthage: From the vibrant souks to archaeological wonders.
• Tabarka & Ain Draham: Pure nature, traditional crafts, and eco-circuits.
• Testour & Dougga: History, UNESCO sites, and gastronomic delights.
• La Goulette & The Dot (Tunis Lake): Special events and live Q&A panels.
• Zaghouan, Cap Bon & Bizerte: Thermal springs, fishing ports, and Mediterranean flavors.

Each day will feature filming, storytelling, and encounters that bring Tunisia’s spirit closer to a global audience.
