In these challenging times for small businesses, piehaus is turning its cozy space, warehouse 22a at Alserkal Avenue, into a hub of comfort, connection, and generosity with the launch of initiative 22 – a community programme designed to give forward when it’s needed the most.
Named after its home, initiative 22 consists of: menu 22 aimed at all guests, and canteen 22 particularly aimed at the community of Alserkal avenue.
"Even though small businesses navigate uncertainty, we believe it’s fundamentally important to support the community that has supported us," says Stasha Toncev, founder of piehaus and 21grams. "initiative 22 is our way of keeping our doors, hearts, and ovens open and accessible to everyone around us."
Menu 22 offers four signature piehaus favourites for AED 22 each, allowing guests to enjoy handcrafted pies and drinks at a symbolic price:

Menu 22 is available for dine-in during operational hours: Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm, and Saturday–Sunday: 9am–9pm.
On the other hand, canteen 22 invites staff, fellow F&B outlets and our neighbors at Alserkal avenue to gather over shared meals at piehaus – offering a space to pause, connect, and a sense of belonging, while providing operational and financial relief to fellow businesses in the area.
