Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Endless choices of food, presented on a beautiful upscale buffet, in a great restaurant blending perfection, design, and style altogether. Nordic class at its finest... I was enchanted like a kid meeting his cartoon hero for the first time.
Hats down for the decor, the buffet choices, the food presentation, the soothing music, happy service, and taste! The food is phenomenally delicious.
Arrive at the hotel’s bar and restaurant where three food islands await. The hot plates are facing the kitchen and two others. The choices are endless: corn flakes, cheeses, cold cuts, croissants and viennoiseries, jams, juices, salmon, muffins, cakes, and salads to name a few.
For the next four mornings, I will be having breakfast at The Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Music is the best thing around here followed by the smiley waitresses then comes the food, the seating and everything else!
I loved the cheeses, the bread freshness, mustards, juiciness of the eggs and richness of the salmon. Best of the best, one of the world’s best is the croissant; the croissants made me shiver. When I thought that I was done, the raisin bread came along; I’ve rarely had bread that is as fresh, moist, light-bodied, airy and aromatic as this one. How do they manage to bake bread while keeping its Heart moist?
Wait! More surprises! The pancakes are succulent! The chocolate muffin is better than many professionals bakeries do it... I couldn’t stop eating from everything!
Wow! The eggs Benedict are the best, best, best... ever! I never had eggs Benedict as hot as these on a muffin as crunchy as this with a poached egg as good as this one! One egg, on one butter grilled muffin, steamed spinach, and an intense hollandaise. I loved it how the muffin is crispy, the spiced cheese is buttered and well cooked, the hollandaise is lemony and intense and the poached egg as just perfect! Bravo, a million times! You made my day.
